I would like to submit my endorsement for Melissa Bosman for a position on the Executive Board.

I have had the pleasure of working with Melissa for the past three years at the Corewell Dearborn Pediatric Clinic. She is truly the heartbeat of our clinic and is central to all that we do. Her dedication to our patients, our team, and improving the way we provide care is evident in everything she takes on.

Melissa has consistently demonstrated exceptional initiative and leadership. Year after year, she has written proposals and secured grants for projects and equipment that have helped advance our clinic and improve the care we provide to our patients. She also introduced our clinic to the Reach Out and Read program, allowing us to provide new books to our patients. She took ownership of organizing the books and developed a system to help our team keep track of them.

When I first joined the clinic and expressed a desire to reduce unnecessary venous blood draws in our lab, Melissa immediately looked for a better solution. She found a way for us to obtain a bilirubin meter so we could assess jaundice in the office, along with point-of-care hemoglobin and lead testing. This is just one example of how Melissa identifies a need, finds a solution, and follows through to make meaningful improvements.

Whenever there is a process in the office that is not working well, Melissa does not simply accept it. She looks for ways to improve it. She brings creativity, accountability, organization, and determination to every challenge.

These qualities are exactly what I believe are needed in executive leadership. Melissa understands the importance of being a responsible steward of resources, advocating for improvements, supporting her colleagues, and making thoughtful decisions that ultimately benefit those we serve. She is someone who takes responsibility seriously and follows through.

Melissa is an exceptional leader and an exceptional person. I have seen firsthand her commitment and genuine desire to make things better for everyone around her.

I offer my strongest recommendation for Melissa Bosman and am proud to endorse her for the Executive Board. I am confident that she will bring the same dedication, accountability, and leadership to this role that she has demonstrated throughout her career.
