Angela Bell, Farmington Hills
I am proud to endorse Chau Tran-Yang for the position of Teamsters Union Trustee. As a nurse, Chau brings a unique combination of compassion, integrity, accountability, and strong leadership—qualities that are essential to serving our members effectively.
Throughout her nursing career at Corewell Farmington Hills, Chau has demonstrated a commitment to advocating for patients and fellow nurses standing up for what is right, and treating everyone with dignity and respect. Nursing requires the ability to listen, communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and make thoughtful decisions while keeping people’s best interests at the forefront. These same qualities make Chau well suited for the responsibilities of a Union Trustee.
Chau understands the importance of trust and accountability. They are dependable, honest, detail-oriented, and willing to ask questions and speak up when something needs attention. They understand that leadership is not simply about holding a position—it is about serving others, protecting their interests, and being willing to do the work necessary to make a difference.
As a Trustee, Chau would bring a strong sense of responsibility, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to the membership. Their experience as a nurse has prepared them to advocate for working people, address concerns with professionalism, and approach difficult situations with fairness and compassion.
I believe Chau would be an excellent Teamsters Union Trustee and a strong voice for our members. I wholeheartedly support their candidacy and encourage our membership to support a leader who will bring integrity, accountability, compassion, and dedication to the role.
