It is my pleasure to endorse Katherine Wallace RN as President/PO for Teamsters local 2024.  As I am sure you all know Katherine has been involved in establishing a union in the Corewell system from the beginning.  She has used her incredible organizing skills along with energy that does not quit to help build a team of nurse organizers who could not be stopped.

Nurses for nurses!  In the world of corporate medicine where healthcare systems no longer care about workers or the patients, only profits. Katherine understands that when you fight for nurses and workplace safety you make the healthcare environment safer for both nurses and patients, in the end that is what matters most.

The Teamster nurses will fare well under the leadership of Katherine as a passionate advocate for safe patient care who is excited to teach a whole new generation of nurses to use the tools of their union to make the boss follow the contract, making work life better for all.
