I worked with Katherine as a staff nurse on both CPCU and IICU at Troy. The thing that stands out the most to me about Katherine is her compassion. She has so much empathy for her patients, but it doesn't stop there.  She takes it to the next level and does all that she can to help alleviate the suffering she senses.  She has always been a strong advocate for her patients. I believe the same compassion makes her the perfect person to advocate for her fellow nurses.
