Debby Goodall, Troy
Over the past 15 years, from our days at Crittenton to Beaumont Troy, I have seen Katherine Wallace embody what it truly means to advocate for nurses. Katherine does not hesitate to lead when it matters most.
Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, before hospital PPE protocols were established, she took the initiative to secure her own protection while relentlessly advocating for the safety of the entire nursing staff.
When the time came to organize, I was thrilled to see her step up to help establish our union at Beaumont/Corewell. For as long as I have known her, Katherine has consistently fought for the rights of nurses and the safety of our patients. She would make an exceptional President of Local 2024.
I have every confidence that she will serve as a fearless, principled voice for all of us—holding Corewell accountable to our contract and fighting passionately for the issues that impact our daily practice.
