I am proud to endorse, Alison Lorentz, for Secretary-Treasurer for Local 2024.

As one of the original organizers, I know how important it is that our first elected board is made up of people who are capable, trustworthy, and understand both the work and the responsibility of building this union. Alison brings a unique combination of experience to this position.

Before becoming an RN, Alison spent many years working in accounting; she served on the bargaining committee during contract negotiations; she has worked as a union steward; and she has served as President of a small, unionized business giving her a unique firsthand experience from both management and union-worker perspectives. And yes, she is my sister-which means I have had a lifetime to know her character, work ethic, integrity, and determination.

I believe those qualities combined with her financial and union experience, make her exceptionally well qualified to serve as our first Secretary-Treasure.
