I am proud to endorse Jody Woodley for Trustee.
Jody truly understands what it means to give of yourself for the benefit of others. Over the past couple of years, she has dedicated an incredible amount of her personal time and energy to helping form a nursing union within our hospital. Her commitment is even more remarkable because she continued this important work while grieving the heartbreaking loss of both of her beloved parents, whom she cared for deeply.
Jody is also the kind of person who is always thinking about those around her. She regularly brings our nurses delicious treats that she has baked, prepared, or purchased simply because she wants to do something kind for everyone. When help is needed, she is someone we can count on. She is always willing to pick up an extra shift or cover a weekend call shift for a coworker.
In addition to her generosity and dependability, Jody is patient, personable, and approachable—even with her most difficult patients. She is genuinely easy to talk to, listens without judgment, and treats people with respect, even when she may not agree with them. These qualities are especially important in a union trustee—someone who can listen to different perspectives, remain fair and respectful, and keep the best interests of the membership at heart.
Through her actions, Jody has already shown that she is dedicated to our nursing staff and willing to invest the time and effort needed to make a difference. She leads with kindness, integrity, and compassion, and I am confident she would bring those same qualities to the position of Trustee. I wholeheartedly support Jody Woodley for Trustee and encourage our members to vote for her.
