I am proud to endorse Chau Tran-Yang for Trustee. I had the honor of working alongside Chau on the bargaining team, where I saw firsthand the dedication, compassion, and determination she brings to representing and advocating for our members.

Chau is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and an excellent listener. She takes the time to truly understand the concerns of those around her and is not afraid to speak up when it matters. I have complete confidence that she will bring that same commitment and determination to the role of Trustee.

One of the things I respect most about Chau is her understanding of safe staffing. She recognizes that safe staffing goes far beyond simple numbers and ratios—it must take into account patient acuity, workload, available resources, and the real-world challenges we face every day. She understands that safe staffing is not only a workplace issue; it is essential to protecting our well-being and ensuring the safety and quality of care we provide to our patients.

Chau has shown that she is willing to listen, advocate, and stand alongside her coworkers when it matters most. I believe her experience, attention to detail, compassion, and commitment to our members would make her a valuable Trustee and a strong voice in our continued fight for safer working conditions and safe staffing.
